Set-up Device (From unboxing)

If you are already logged in to your NVIDIA Shield or Android TV Device, you can skip this step

  1. Turn on your NVIDIA Shield or Android TV Device Android TV box and pair the remote if prompted.
  2. Select your preferred language and confirm.
  3. Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi password.
  4. Sign in with your Google account (required to download apps from the Play Store).
  5. Follow the on-screen setup process to finish the configuration.

Preparing The Device (Enable Developer Mode)

Enabling developer mode so that the device can install .APK files.

  1. From the NVIDIA Shield or Android TV Device home screen, go to Settings ( gear icon).
  2. Scroll down to "Device Preferences" and select it.
  3. Navigate to "About" and click on it.
  4. Find the "Build" option and click it multiple times (around 7 times) until you see a message saying "You are now a developer".
  5. Go back to the "Device Preferences" menu and open "Developer options".
  6. Enable "Install unknown apps" and toggle it ON for the app you will be using to install the APK (e.g., Downloader).
Important: Only install APKs from trusted sources. Sideloading can pose security risks.

Downloader Setup (Installing The Application)

Prepare the Downloader app to fetch and install the iSwitchTV APK on your NVIDIA Shield or Android TV Device.

  1. From the NVIDIA Shield or Android TV Device home screen, search for "Downloader" in the Google Play Store and install it.
  2. Open the Downloader app once installed.
  3. In the home tab of the Downloader app, click the URL search box.
  4. Enter the APK download code: 350146
  5. Click "Go" and the iSwitchTV APK will begin to download and install.
  6. Once the download is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to install the APK.
  7. After installation is complete, click "Done" to close the Downloader app.
  8. Go back to the NVIDIA Shield or Android TV Device home screen and open the newly installed iSwitchTV app.

Logging in to iSwitchTV

Log in to the iSwitchTV Application.

  1. Open the iSwitchTV app from the home screen or app drawer.
  2. Enter any name in the "Any Name" field, followed by the provided username and password.
  3. Click "Login" and you are ready to start watching content!
Tip: Your login information can be found in your welcome email. If you misplaced the email, please contact support.

Troubleshooting

  1. APK fails to install: ensure Unknown sources are enabled for Downloader and that there is no other "SMARTERS PRO" application installed.
  2. App stuck on login: if you are stuck on login (Loading loop) go in to app settings on your fire device and clear cache and app data.
